Having always been a fan of Disney, I was quite eager to delve deeper into Disney’s extraordinary library of animated movies. Having recently (within the last few years) acquired Studio Ghibli, I set out to start watching some of the famous films.
As much fun as Winter Break was, I was excited to return to classes this week. This semester is a true test of building my future. Two major projects I’m pursuing this semester are completing my thesis film for May graduation of my BFA in Film, and taking the culmination course for the Advertising major: Advertising Campaigns.
As most probably know, part of my amazing experience at SMU has been my role as a Resident Assistant in Armstrong Commons. RAs return to campus early in the Fall and Spring to participate in further training / professional development, and to prepare for returning residents (I have 34!). It’s nice to see others after a long break and to figure out ways to communicate more effectively with each other.
Last year, my studies and filmmaking had a grip on me 24/7. While I don’t expect to be any less busy, I want to change my writing habits. I have ideas of scripts I’d like to write, short films I’d like to shoot and advertising campaigns I’d like to pursue. I hope you enjoy coming along with me in my journey!
